Where is Patzcuaro located?
Patzuareo is Located on the southeast shore of Lake Patzcuaro 56 km (35 miles) southwest of state capital Morelia at an altitude of 2,200 m (7,130 feet), Patzcuaro overlooks one of the loveliest valleys in Mexico, with rolling pastures and pine forests on the soft-coned slopes of volcanoes.
Mexico City is 327 km (204 miles) away and Guadalajara 284 km (177 miles).
How to get to Pazcuaro
The nearest airport is in Morelia an hour drive away. You can fly into it from the U.S. and other points in Mexico including Mexico City, Guadalajara and Leon on Mexicana, Aeromexico, Aeromar and other airlines. There are regular local buses from Morelia to Patzcuaro, leaving from the bus station about 1.6 km (a mile) outside the city just about every hour. And driving from Morelia is easy, on either the fast toll road or the original one that offers interesting scenery. Deposit Policy:
A credit card is required to guarantee reservations.
Regular season: 50% deposit will be charged to credit card 7 days prior to arrival
Holiday season: 50% deposit will be charged to credit card 21 days prior to arrival, remaining 50% will be charged 7 days prior to arrival.
Up to two additional children may share the room with their parents. Sofa-beds are available for this purpose but not recommended for adults. Children 2 to 11: $13 USD per night. Children 12 to 15 years old: $43 USD per night during the regular season. For 2009 Childrem 12 to 15 years old: $53 USD per night during regular season
Cancellation Policy:
Regular season: Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to arrival date will be charged with 50% of the entire stay.
Holiday Seasons: (Holy Week, Day of the Dead, Christmas and New Year´s Eve) Cancellations received 21 to 7 days prior to arrival date will be charged 50% of the entire stay. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to arrival will be charged for the complete stay.
No shows or last minute cancellations will result in forfeiture of the entire stay. Cancellations received one day prior to arrival and early departures are considered last minute cancellations.

The hotel can prearrange transportation via taxi from the Uruapan and Morelia airports with prior notice. Price from the Uruapan airport: $800 pesos one way. Price from the Morelia airport: $800 pesos one way.
You will be advised of the taxi number that will be waiting for you outside the airport (white taxis with Taxi Ejecutivo plus the number in big gray letters).
